Our lovely trip to Weymouth & Portland
It’s no secret, I’m not particularly interested in going on holiday in the UK, mainly because of the weather and the cold sea. Give me a tropical beach getaway anyday, however, recently, we took a weekend break (a long weekend) in Weymouth, and I have to say I was very surprised, it’s a lovely place and the harbour is just fantastic. We booked our weymouth cottages through a company called Dream Cottages, and we were very happy with the price and the accommodation. The weather held up nicely and we got some sunshine although it was quite cold (being early March I should of expected cold weather).
Exploring the Italian Alps and Triora
So, last September we explored the southern part of the Italian Alps, which, I have to say is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The mountain regions are littered with small hilltop towns which date back to the mid 14th century. There are so many towns to explore from Triora along tiny winding roads which barely accommodate a single car. You’ll find enchanting views, lovely people and a piece of paradise tucked away.
Our trip to Pisa, Italy
It was only a few months back that we returned from Italy after our second trip, Italy is beautiful and just wants you to go back to visit for more. We drove from our base in Monte Verdi Marritimo up to Pisa for a day trip which took about 2 hours each way. Pisa is fantastic, but has one too many tourists.
